Five Foods to Beat Stress


Cortisol is a steroid hormone produced by the adrenal cortex and released in response to stress.

Participants in a research trial studying the effects of fish oil on stress consumed 7.2 g of Fish Oil per day for 3 weeks. They were found to have lower Cortisol levels after a stress test, compared to a control group.

Foods high in Omega 3 include Salmon, Halibut (a flat Flounder fish), Tuna, Soy Beans and Walnuts. Try out Halibut with the Crispy Fish Taco recipe below.
