Our Occupational Therapists can provide services via many different funding schemes, these include: NDIS (self and plan managed clients only), CTP, Lifetime Care & Support, Medicare and Workers Compensation. We also service private clients.

We support clients and their carers with navigating the NDIS. We can conduct functional capacity assessments (social skills, activities of daily living, cognitive, sensory profiles as well an informal observations) to determine eligibility for NDIS funding and provide progress reports to apply for a change of circumstance or an upcoming plan review. Once funding is in place for all plan or self managed participants, we can provide treatment/programs in the areas of social skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, travel training, activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living).

We can also help with assistive technologies such as beds, bathroom equipment, transfer equipment such as hoists and transfer boards, manual and powered wheelchair adjustments and prescriptions. Another area we can assist with is, home modifications.

Our Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists can assist employers in providing a safe workplace through pre employment screening for both psychological and physical demands, ergonomic assessments for workstations and tasks, consultation on fabrication, purchase and supply of lifting and manual handling equipment, manual handling training, and preventative health programs.  We also provide group wellbeing and safety training, and leadership development programs and coaching. 

Listening plays a vital role in the sensory integration process. Both research and clinical experience have shown that using sound-based interventions for clients with sensory processing difficulties can increase treatment effectiveness. We deliver evidenced based listening programs that help people retrain their brains to be able to cope with noisy environments, listen in class, sit in a restaurant, hold a conversation and integrate their sense of hearing better into their daily lives.

Our Occupational Therapists work with clients who have sustained a work related or motor vehicle related injury to recover. We provide assessment, therapy, return to work and driving support for both injured workers and employers. We review return to work plans and advise and consult with doctors, insurers, clients, carers and employers to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. 

Our Occupational Therapists can assist with minor or major home modifications. Whether the installation of a small grabrail is the need, or whether the need is for a ramp or full bathroom modification, our Occupational Therapists can assist with the whole process from designing the home modification to obtaining funding approval for the work.
